How it Works

Getting Started

We can help with posted or unposted roles. We start with a brief in-person or virtual meeting to understand your business and the specifics of the role you’re hiring for. Whether you need help crafting a job posting or already have one, we’ve got your back. Once the job has been posted for a reasonable time (usually a week, sometimes 2 weeks) we’ve got our initial candidate pool.

Initial Assessment

We create an initial scoring tool and review each and every applicant’s submission.  This initial pass eliminates spam and unqualified candidates, and results in a focussed candidate pool ready for review.

Phone Interview

We then conduct brief phone interviews with the filtered list, blind from the initial assessment results to give us a fresh look at each candidate.  We subjectively score each candidate on 4-6 key traits, and manage callbacks, no answers, and messaging back and forth with the candidate pool, including rejection notification, while maintaining your company’s professional image.

Video Interview

The next phase is a video interview, conducted by someone within your organization (we can optionally join that video call if you wish).  We work with your availability schedule and book the video interviews on your behalf.

Since the video interviews are typically only 10-15 minutes, this stage allows you to efficiently evaluate cultural fit and suitability without extensive time commitments.

In Person Interview

With a narrowed-down list of finalists, we hand the reins back to you for in-person interviews and final selection.

The Platform

We can work with a number of platforms depending on your preference.  We have the greatest familiarity with Indeed.

Indeed is our preferred platform because it hosts the video interviews and makes it easy to schedule interviews.  All video interviews can be done through the browser, with no specific software required, and multiple interviewers in multiple locations is possible.
